Robe Canyon Editorial preview

Prior to my summer Asia trip, I did a spec editorial shoot at Robe Canyon, a historic/semi-hiking trail outside of Granite Falls near Mt. Pilchuck on the Cascade Loop.

The trail features beautiful and rugged terrain, from a mountain glacier river, rocky cliffs, century old overgrown railway, giant stone river-crossing bridges, tunnels, massive rockslides, pristine rainforest, & more.
 
Not a terribly accommodating environment for a shoot, but thanks to the crew for making it work. I’ll take a cold, wet, sweaty day in the middle of no-where over the studio any day.
 
Here’s a shot of stylist Megan working on model Marissa’s dress, on a narrow 2.5ft wide bridge over a 40ft drop into the ravine below!
